In this campaign, I wanted to clearly compare the clothing and the athlete.
​
To inspire the audience, I use these adverts to tell stories of perseverance and motivation, connecting the stories of these everyday athletes to the quality of Under Armour products and how perfectly they align with each other, because just like them, they keep pushing forward and don't give up.
​
This gives the audience several points to connect with:
• Relatability:
• By using everyday sport participants instead of professional athletes, many more people will find the adverts relatable as they see someone like themselves using and benefiting from this product. The adverts will also contain a diverse cast, which is important to maintain relatability to as many people as possible.
• Products in use:
• The adverts always show the Under Armour products being used, which means what the product is and does will always be clear.
• Emotional connection:
• In the same sense as relatability, the audience seeing someone on the same journey as them or with the same interests can make them emotionally invested in the advert by seeing the person in the advert succeed the same way they want to.
• Storytelling:
• Having a story in each advert helps the campaign become memorable and helps land the above points with the audience.
Insight
Under Armour sportswear and equipment is made not to give up, just like the athlete wearing it.
Idea
Showcase Under Armour as a force that goes on the journey alongside the athlete as a constant force, willing to go again as long as the athlete is.
